Most modern cars are wider; I had a sh!tty little Revoke coming towards me on a B road and it looked like the Starship Enterprise. I heard the the grass on the verge scraping the side of my car as I squeezed past the f*cker. Ugly bast4rds as well.

It's true, they look like Clarkson has dropped a skip on them. Wide low and ugly, why do people buy them? I'm f*cked if I know. It just proves the buying public are blind, f*cked in the head tossers.

I agree, always said they looked like they had driven into a low bridge! The powers of marketing!

I am with the minority on here then. I think they are the best looking in their class and I have loved mine. The only
Thing i don't like
Is the fuel economy which is remarkable. Dick Lovetts and back was 50 quid. Could probably have done it for that in the GTs

Although maybe slightly off topic, my worry too is where to go from here.
I don't like keeping cars too long. I drive them, I don't preserve them like some do. Ever being worried about resale value etc. These cars were meant to be driven - not sit in a garage for 6 months of the year!
So. If Maserati don't come up with the goods I'm worried I won't find something to replace my GTS with!
I've started to look at McClaren. But they are nowhere near as practical. I'm with Iain on this one. I want a GT type car with personality and power. There's not much that fits the bill.
I wish Maserati would pull their finger out :(

I have exactly the same quandary. For the money, nothing comes close. As far as I can tell it takes another £80k to get close to something as brilliant, and even then you're sacrificing practicality and adding a lot to running costs.

My neighbour, who is a total ****, just took delivery a Revoke Convertible. I wondered why they make that car, I mean who is stupid enough to want one. Now I know.

Massively, massively ugly.

Been reading this thread and time to chip in.
I too wonder what to do next. I am not in the big money league of Ferrari (vulgar) or McLaren etc and I love my QPV so I guess it is a keeper. The only ones I am interested in at the mo is a BMW i8 but they are German and therefore a no no or a Tesla when they fall in price. My workhorse Renault is on its last legs so decisions will need to be made. What is a Revoke?

It's strange that Maserati seem to be the only manufacturer who can build a low slung coupe that seats 4. The DB11 has very little rear space so that looks like another generation of Astons that lack practicality. The only alternative to a Maser is a compromise - saloon, breadvan or Bentley...

Very odd indeed. We're getting to a point where, in theory, we should never need the rear seats, but simply having the option.....

I would much prefer to have a 2 seater as my fun /smart car. But I have to say the GTS was fantastic with the back seats.
I would feel guilty not to be able to take my daughter out in it - especially at the weekend etc. And it would really **** me off going out on a sunny day in a 4x4 or saloon and leaving the trident/ F car in the garage..
Car manufacturers need to solve the problem of having a compact sporty car which also fits child seats in the back or normal sized people with legs. Surely with modern technology they can make all components including the engine smaller so it can all fit in :)

They already did - in the shape of the Gran Sport!

Some would say this is what the 4 series/A5 do. However, if you want to spend more money or have more exclusivity it means going up a size to the likes of the GranTurismo.
