New to me. Incredible photo. Saw him and his dad race quite a few times and always thought they were two pairs of safe hands. Can happen to anyone I guess. PS - is that the 57 German gp winner?gulp.

He got punted into Alain de Cadenet I think. Don’t really like Goodwood. I’d never race my own car there it’s too excitable. I think the thing that saved Nigel was he landed square on the stacked tyres that make up the tyre barrier rather than the ground.

On a previous visit to the Smoke, at Lots Road power station in Chelsea....



And outside Loughborough Central station after I'd fitted a set of 3500S wheel trims....

The beast from Solihull.... this was my third P5 and the best of them in all respects, it sounded fantastic with a stainless steel exhaust and the factory fitted power steering made it a joy to drive....
