Primrose Yellow, now that rings a bellA Good read.
My mother ran a primrose yellow 420 for several years with chrome wire wheels which were a búgger to clean.
Remember stopping at Michlewood Services at night and opening the bonnet with the exhaust manifolds glowing red quite a party trick.

Wow, lovely colour... They were real sh*te to work on especially the Jag heating/air con system they nicked off Bristol, it was so complicated!Just a nice pic..... I still think the the styling of the XJ-S is a masterpiece, despite the lukewarm reception its looks received back in 1975....
