Oh my God, I bought a Gransport!

Still tingling after looking at and deciding to buy a Gransport. I can't say to much about it as that wouldn't be fair to the owner at this stage as I have only paid a deposit - but what I can say is that I am about 11/10 on the excitement scale.

Watch this space for an update!

PS I pretended to do paddle shifting in my old pickup truck on the way home - do I need to talk to somebody about this?

These cars are one of the secret gems of the sports car world. They slip under the radar but are amazing build, power, feel and value, you are now a member of the underground elite!

Heres a question for you - do I join the Maserati Owners Club or just stick with the forum?

Well, if you were to cut me in half, I would say MASERATI like a stick of rock all the way through.

This forum is all I need and the club is for shall we say, the older gent with a £250k pre 1960's car and string back gloves, does that help?

On this forum, you will get access to all the relevant events, here and overseas, discount on parts and group buys like the set of discs we just did for zero profit.

You will also be able to join in the banter and get instant answers to tech questions and the sponsors, knowing you are an SM member will look after you.

We even have a member (Voicey) that has the Maserati diagnostic computer that will come and work his magic for beer money.

Cheers for all the replies - noted about Maserati Owners Club, thank you. Seems more chill here so I'll stick around here!

Well done chap - you are in the best place for all things Maserati.

Tried the owners club once and was put in mind of the phrase - "you should try everything in life except morris dancing and incest!" My experience with the club would rank close to that. I think the 3200GT AC I had at the time was far too much of a new fangled thing.

Get yourself to the Ace and meet some of the chaps from the SM forum. Soon it will be Goodwood and Le Mans on your to do list.

I am afraid we have got you now you will not escape.

Also, mirror what the boys have said about the Gransport - absolute sleeper and only one way they will go.

Keep paddling.
