Marti, welcome to the madness! You have found the very best Maserati forum there is, so that is a good start, well done! It's a very active place to be and the marque, and technical, knowledge we have will help to make ownership an even more pleasant experience. We hope to see you at an event some time soon.

Welcome Marti, well the guys above have said it all really.

Post some pics and try and make it to one of the events. Ace Cafe is no far from you and the next one is planned 2nd Thursday in Feb or Mar weather depending.

We are not all techies on here, far from it. Use this place like you do FaceBook, chat, banter, make friends and enjoy the events.

Welcome to the forum Marti. I see you've come from a QP to the 3200, so I guess you're already used to those Italian foibles! :D

Plenty of threads on the forum regarding the 3200. Just a few known issues to read up on if you haven't already. Nothing to worry about as there are fixes, and they may well have been done already.

As for tyres I've also run Pirelli's, which I found so-so given their price (for regular road use. They're pretty good on track), but I'm also very impressed by the Falken's. The 452's were great and the new Azenis 453's are getting good reviews.... I'm now trying them on my GS.

Regards, Miles.

Currently have Pirelli PZero's on both the 3200AC and the 4200CC, have found them very good personally, only used PZero Assymetrico and Rosso's, nothing else. I have heard the Falkens are pretty good and some rave about the Vredsteins, but the choice is yours. Read up on reviews if you can, see what others say and then decide.

I have Vredsteins on our M5 and they are as good as anything else I've had including P Zero, Sport Contacts

Dont forget Falkens 452's or even the newer 453's, brilliant tyre for the price, but due to their success, the prices are starting to rise.

Assuming the heating is fixed, I'll be getting 453's on the 4200 on Friday. Will report back.
Total cost is about £315 from F1
