Another vote for LG OLED here. Amazing picture quality and great user interface. Always had Panasonics before but the LG is in a different league for ease of use the software updates are pain free so all the apps work great all the time.

I snagged a 42" plasma for Zwift a couple of weeks back. From ebay offer being accepted to installed and working in the garage: 70 minutes (Bloke was just up the raod)

I recall when these things (Panasonic) were hundreds and hundreds. I paid £60 and it works perfectly.

Wouldn't want to watch a movie on it :D

Another vote for LG oled. I have 2, both the older e model that was packed full of tech but was discontinued, I heard, because it was too expensive to produce.

I have always owned Panasonic
Currently 55inch smart ultra HD and it’s great VFM compared to other brands such as LG

does everything, easy menu and smart access is not complicated

I have had So y in the past and then suddenly after an update half the Apps were no longer available so we had to get an Amazon fire to keep it current.

Can’t fault the quality though.

No I buy cheaper but upgrade more often.

I am currently looking for a 37” to go on the spare room the Ukrainian refugees will be having.

Agree. I’m still running my 60”and 50” Pioneer Kruro from 2009. Had them professionally setup. For me still the best picture by far. It was called the ‘directors tv’ I think.

Pioneer were/are great plasma tv's and superb build quality, still have 4 of them in the house going strong since 2005, loved the fact that they had separate media receivers that could be hidden in a unit with a 3 meter cable that could be buried in the wall

I went back to Panasonic a couple of years ago after the LG I had dies after 3 years. I use a Sonos PlayBar with it and it does a decent job of faking surround sound.

We also have a cinema room with proper 7.1 using an Optimo 4k projector, Onkyo amp, Acoustic Energy and Monitor Audio speakers and sub etc etc.

As @Felonious Crud knows, I do quite a lot of work with my sister's company in Germany and they are now using 8k experimental projectors from Panasonic Labs. I'm looking forward to these being affordable!
