Having had a very mixed and frustrating year with my 4200 GT, which was my fault and not the car, i decided to move it on via a local specialist and go back to what i know...Jaguar.

However having searched the country for an XJR with the right spec and condition and finding nothing but rubbish, i came across quite a few Quattropote's, which i can honestly say has tempted me back into the fold. So it is with great delight that tomorrow i bring my new beauty back home, just hope the long journey does not show up any issues.

What age/spec/miles is the QP? Looks lovely, I love them on those 7-spokes.

Nice spec has a full host of options except phone and front massaging seats, very early 06 (Jan) and a genuine Executive GT, need to do some digging but i'm told it was registered by Maserati UK as their launch show car. Covered 56k miles with a couple of owners and a trader with full history.

Only things i need to takle faily quickly will be a parking sensor fault, screw missing from front grill and possible clutch change.

My shape ! found the reach for the gearlever a little to far for comfort which made it a complete pain after a bit, but the rest of the car was faultless.
