hi guys,

a week ago i received some news that if im honest at first was very hard to take, what with no job etc...
but now im looking forward to it and cant wait.........

im going to be a dad!!

christina is pregnant and we have a scan tomorrow to let us know how far gone she is.......
a child right now is prob what i need to get my **** in gear and get on with my life......

thanx to all you guys for the great support ive had in the last year, now im looking forward to the next chapter of life.....

Congratulations mate, really please for you and Christina, so at future meets, you can introduce little Dem/Christina to their extended family, us lot all the best mate and i hope you get a job soon, i know that looking for and applying for jobs at the moment is bloody difficult as i am going through that process.

Dem, My boy is now two and it't the best thing that ever happened to me. If you're used to fuelling a Maserati, you won't even notice the cost, it really isn't dear when they're little. The only thing you will feel is - knackered! Congratulations though to both of you, great news, and don't even consider selling the AC

Totally agree with you 2b1, re the kids thing , i feel like a millionaire in that department , my youngest finishes at Cambridge this year , hopefully he'll be earning bundles to keep his ol man in the maserati life to which he's become accustomed hahaha

I remember Louise making the announcement to me that she was pregnant.
My reaction was denial.... "those tests aren't very accurate you know"
Louise "I've done three"
Dan "What, all at once?"
Louise "Well, one after another"
Dan "Ah, that's not the way it should be done, try again later..."

Then I think I changed to "Oh for **** sake, how did that happen?!?!"

Little Amelie is now 20 months old and beginning to speak, I must admit it brought a tear to my eye the first time I heard her say Daddy - In fact, I'm smiling ear to ear as I write this remembering it.

It's hard work (even harder for the Mrs!) but literally every day gets better and better.... until one day you forget how hard it was and consider having another!
