And I’m not discrediting anyone’s car on here but the GT’s front end is a very poor undercooked design to make way for the higher mark cars it’s no mistake but it’s a fact

Not quite fact, beauty is in the eye of the beholder and that! I personally prefer the more simple clean lines of the early GT. Bit like the old jag xk's, I used to think they looked a bit pony with a high ride height and arch gaps but as I've got older I look at them and think they're pretty.
Well done on the sale anyhow

I don't really care either to be honest. These pimped up modern bling motors are not my cup of tea and not really anything that interests me.

Each to their own so no problems here either way. Same reason I'm not hip or trendy or wear skinny jeans. I don't care what anyone thinks of me either or my cars. As long as I'm happy with me and I'm happy with my cars I couldn't give two hoots what anyone else thinks.

I dare say this is a very different attitude to many millennials and the like in which most of what they do is done for the thoughts and consumption of others.

Surprised you found a buyer so quickly and one who was prepared to pay so much for a car with no MOT as well.
Is W900MAH the correct registration number or false plates?
Just my further 2 cents.

Wow this thread quickly turned sour, which is a shame.

What ever rhe background story it is odd that a rusty old classic restored is OK but a repair of a modern car is not... and I bet there are plenty of bodged restorations out there.

That's interesting.. Has different wheels, spoiler and side skirts between the first two photos.. Also first photo has the newer bucket seats and the interior photo shows the older seats..

Edit : Also.. looking at the photo of the boot, it has a strad rear bumper on that photo by the looks of it
Edit Edit : (I should properly look before posting) Also states it has a new clutch, but interior photo shows the ZF auto shifter.. wouldn't touch it with a bargepole

Looks like the Ebay ad is using some pics from the Amari car which is a completely different car. Also the first pic isn't the salvage CAT D car unless the bonnet was changed as well.

Looks like there is 3 different cars here.

Yes, agreed. Possibly 2 or 3 different cars in that Ebay ad. Possibly.....probably....almost certainly none of them are the actual car for sale!

Are we suggesting that the OP is telling a little porky pie about the car already being sold, and for a figure (presumably) around the £30k mark then?! Maybe in all his excitement from the sale, he's simply forgotten to take down the advert.;)
