The pic with bonnet up is the original damage

It's good you have pictures of the damage, if you can take some with the bodywork removed to show how badly its damaged under the plastic and include them in the pictures when you sell it

Most buyers will assume it's been wrapped round a tree and straightened by a guy with a *** hanging out of the corner of his mouth while he's got the fork lift at 5000rpm

Hahaha yeah I think cat d is okay it’s the lesser of the category’s as far as under the plastic there is no damage what so ever anything that was cracked I completely replaced the only things damaged was the intake grille but behind the bumper and the bumper grille

So basically when this car goes for sale there will be no damage what so ever no cracks no tears no nothing it will be perfect with a brand new paint job

Cat D knocks £5k off, body kit knocks £2k-£3k off. I’d suggest it’ll need to be in the teens to sell.

It’s an 08 4.2 GT, with 68k miles, CAT D, and a body kit that will not appeal to most Maserati buyers.

I think £16-18k is a very fair price...

There's quite a few non cat 4.2 in the low 20k's and that's at a dealer , got any matches?

In my mind that limits the market, makes it less desirable and hence reduces the value.

People don’t by 330i that are made to look like M3 and the same goes for Maser GT.

Me personally wouldn’t want to buy a normal gt because the front looks terrible this front looks a lot better

Yes but none of which have a stradale front end

I can see why you think think it would be worth more, but really, anyone contemplating buying a Maserati is not a normal person (me included) , sincerely, best of luck with getting what you want for it.

there are some fair comments about the value, cat cars are normally 25% less than the retail value and still hard to sell unless at bargain basement price because of the stigma, add to the fact that its had a non standard nose job and that will also put off the usual Maserati fan, however, I do wish you the best of luck with it

I'd say most Maser customers would find the mods devalue the car not increase it. There will be some that will value it more for sure. Probably younger than older.

You need to find the younger cats and the millennials rather than us old duffers. My son would love it.....however he is 11!
