We had only just got our khaki gear after one week of training, oh and PT gear for the usual beastings. We didn't get blue stuff till week 4 although Number 1s were assigned to us but tailored later in the course . After 6 weeks at RAF Swinderby (now closed) I went to RAF Locking (now closed) for a 72 week course . That was a hard life, HNC course in half the time and Weston-Super-mare in a £2 taxi ride away. Passed out as a qualified alcoholic with a sideline of electronics..
I likewise didn't go into detail or expound upon training after "basic" or "boot camp" ...

The other thing I think about now are "false flag" operations. What's to keep Vladdy from bombing some of his own people near the border to try and inflame passions at home?

Autocracy is Scary.

He doesn't have to Dennis. Create false flag ops. Ukrainian 'special forces' have already bombed fuel and ammunition dumps across the border, in Russia.
Just watched this.
Robert Baer, who was one of the CIA top case officers of his generation, stated unambiguously that in his opinion Putin's threats to use tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine should be believed. Because, in his words, Putin has done everything else that he's threatened. He said that the threat of Putin using tactical nukes is growing with every day the war persists and is also increased by growing Russian set backs.
We've all heard this before.
However, the guy issuing the warning now, spent his CIA career leading operations in the Middle East until the late 90's. But, you might say, we're talking about Russia and Ukraine. Not sandland. The thing is, Russia has always been embedded deeply in sandland and especially in it's client states. Egypt, Syria etc etc So, you don't get to be the top CIA case officer in the Middle East, without also developing expert knowledge of Russia, its politics and how it operates both internally and abroad.

Nope. I fully agree. I feel the encirclement of those Russian forces in Lyman will be the catalyst. Sacrificial lambs to the slaughter and a justification. Looking at the war map if they haven’t pulled out by now they’re royally fk’d. And the war map is usually at least 36 hrs behind.
I think It’s inevitable.

I just hope Putin gets the bullet before it comes to that , it's whether the Russians believe the US will attack or if it's an idle threat.

The response will be conventional, in nature. Haven't looked yet, but I'm sure Mike or someone can get a quick scan on where key US naval assets are currently lying. The Adriatic is convenient to just about...everywhere.

Which unless they have a homing beacon on Putin won’t be decisive enough to end this war. I feel.

i think it may get taken care of internally, when the chips are down. Maybe we can find Vladdy a suite of rooms on Vesco Island, and drop the Kim kid and Trump there, too...

False Flags!!!

Here we go- “https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-n...-feared-unprecedented-damage-nord-stream-gas/

1. Why would Putin blow up the pipelines that aren’t currently being used?

2. Why would he blow up a pipeline that he controls the flow of gas through?

3. Could Ukraine have carried out this attack?

4. Who else could have?

5. This Polish Mep,s opinion is clear.

There’s no winners in war and if a peace isn’t negotiated here soon we could all be the biggest losers.

Booom!

If it was the US or if Russia even believes it was (they'll know if they , themselves, did it!) this could really be bad for us all.

"The strongest possible response".........what, Mrs Unelected Von Der Leyen - Germany v USA for a third time????

(I'll bet no evidence is ever provided this was Russia and let’s hope it’s a more thorough investigation than the one into the origins and background of Covid)

Agreed completely on the evidence.

Germany has already been a bit soft on this whole supporting UKR thing.

Helpful knowing where people stand. Even more helpful knowing why.

Nailing it...one quick way to wean everyone off RUS petroleum products. There are others.

And no one should doubt the seriousness of the US when it comes down to dinosaur juice.
I’m not so sure it’s “dinosaur juice”…..and below was hardly a denial of involvement :f5:

In Washington, Karine Jean-Pierre, the White House press secretary, and Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken declined to speculate about what had caused the leaks, but pledged that the United States would support Europe in securing its energy supply.“This just drives home the importance of our efforts to work together to get alternative gas supplies to Europe and to support efforts to reduce gas consumption and to accelerate true energy independence by moving to a clean energy economy,” Ms. Jean-Pierre said.

But it certainly stinks of the WEF “Build, Back, Better” mantra and Bidens fixation with it and clean everything.

Yes, that. Was also referring to our willingness to invade various and sundry oil-rich nations...and our focus on strategy around similar resources such as back in WWII in the Pacific.

Anyway there is now the Gazprom LNG station at Portovaya (at the NS2 incoming), shipping to Sweden and Greece per ex., and Germany is building a LNG terminal ...
