Good to hear your still flying the flag JP.

The suspension on our cars is expensive and at they get well over the 50k mile mark they do seem to be failing.

This is something we need to look at doing, the flan blocks/bushes can be had but the balljionts cannot and they should be able to be reconditioned.

Please add me on that list! I hope to never part with the GS, but am going to need a solution soon as the creaking noises from going over speed bumps are cringe inspiring!

Thanks and Merry Christmas to all!

Is he still with Lydia, I thought I saw him at Ace with a different lady?

Well, MIA indeed...:)....t's been quite a year of change this end, home, relationship & work projects. I was only thinking the other day of an early bird meet/ drive out will help my recovery..
QP has not turned a wheel much lately, fitted a new set of FD discs on the front, so should be much better for Trackday/ Run outs.

Trust you all had a fab Xmas & Marlow still allow u back?

Cheers

Gosh 2014 been quite a year for a few of us then. Nice to be able to keep a Maserati mistress in it though for the Good Times she brings along.

Hey you crazy cats! Wonder whether this is the right thread to pop in and say 'howdy' - it's been a while! Still got the 4200, still brings a smile to my face...

Hi guys,

Apologies it's been a while since last posting, I've been having serious computer problems and subsequent battles with PC World / Know How. That company's customer service is shocking(ly bad) to say the least! Been able to keep in touch with a few things via FB on my phone though. Thankfully a new computer means that I'm now 'back in business' and hopefully able to join in the Sports Maserati mayhem :) I've got a lot of catching up to do on here though LOL.

Hi Athol,

Am not too bad thanks. Am definitely making progress, so hopefully should be back to some kind of normality soon.
MC2 is fine, although that's no thanks to a nasty pothole causing a tyre blowout and subsequent trip on the back of a transporter to Graypaul Nott'm to put it right.

How's things your end and on here? What have I missed? I've just seen that Benny now has a '4300', who'd have thought he'd have allowed any 3200 parts on his car lol; awesome job though - his car looks stunning.

All good mate. Gearing up for the Le Mans road trip where i'm looking forward to meeting Matt's infamous brother and perhaps seeing one of Phil's cars in the flesh, if it makes it... :)

I think Ian surprised us all with the switch to 3200 style. I guess he's softening with age. It's not too much of a step further to pull out that 4.2 and get a hold of a biturbo 3.2....

Hope you're car is well again. I'm preparing to by an MC later in the year, i've a re-mortgage to get out of the way first.

Cheers

Glad to hear you're well :) I've yet to meet Matt's brother, but sounds like he'll make the Le Mans trip even more entertaining than it would have been. As for Phil's cars, he must have liked the first one so much he bought it another lol. Sounds like the Le Mans trip will be a blast. Hope you all have a great time.

Yep, MC2 is fine now. GP Nott'm have put it right (new tyre and wheel repair) and given it the all clear after a thorough inspection.
That's great news, coupé or cab? Either way, I'm sure you'll enjoy it - John (Yeti) is loving his Stradale and I still love my GC MC so much that neither of us plan on parting with them; they're rather special cars.

Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with you all sometime soon.

Cheers,
T

Hi T

You should deal with professionals, mate. PCW is never going to be anything other than the lowest common denominator.
