Over the past couple of years I have had to suffer any amount of abuse for my love of cycling and more especially for the lycra gear I wear. This abuse has been directed at me more especially from Matt so it is ironic that the great master of Maserati has finally succumbed to the cycling mania by going out and buying himself an Italian superbike together with all the clobber that goes with it in an effort to keep up with me.
Of course it will be a while before he can match my 1000 mile from London to Barcelona but everyone has to start somewhere. He has bought a fabulous full carbon bike in an attempt to keep things light but may I suggest a few less pork pies and hamburgers might have done the trick
