It’s almost impossible to get a subtle McLaren. You either will look like you’re having a crisis or that you want more views on your YouTube channel. You will certainly not look classy.

You speak for yourself, Athol! I'd look ******* epic, me.

Here’s my 4 seat Ferrari. Mid-life crisis or not, I like it. As does my wife. And that’s all that counts.

Are we flattering ourselves that we're 'mid-life'..? I had one at 30. Reckoned it was worth getting it out the way early and have been enjoying it tremendously ever since. In any case, my lifestyle back then didn't suggest I'd make it much past 50, so arguably I was a bit late.

That’s super elegant, no mid life crisis there. My Ms is impervious to cars. Her folks changed their Jag saloon for a Range Rover and she didn’t even notice.

Well that's 40+ mins of my life I won't get back.

Watching that was like watching a piece on "That's life" from the '80's.

In summary; men buy cars from low volume producer for lots of money and are surprised that the quality and service is not at the same level as the long term mass producers.

Yep, it's a shame. Yep, it's disappointing. But... It seems like it was all sorted in the end. Want no issues? Buy a Porsche/Merc/Ferrari.

Interesting, cos when I had mine, or not, I went for another option.
It only seats 1 tho,
front or back.

That's a fair summary. It would put me off buying from McManchester (as would the big distance between my house and Manchester), but it wouldn't put me off buying a Macca. There are better reasons for not buying a Mac than the bad experience of one buying process.
