The spelling in the contract they wanted them to sign was just embarrassing, do you think it was dictated by norman collier with the missing words just guessed.
This is how the mustang was presented to me 6375863759

I'd have expected there to be something similar if I was spending that kind of money

I don’t quite get the sheet over a car you’ve bought, surely you know what it looks like already so isn’t a surprise?

Do like the Mustang though.

Or the veil over a bride’s face. Last chance to scarper!

My last two sillycars have been bought via small indies, hence no reveal from beneath the silk sheet.

It is a sytner showroom - why are any of us surprised by this? They are notoriously terrible.
I do not agree w this comment. I bought my M3 from Sytner Newport and although the car contracted a few issues after I bought it, they were absolutely incredible in how they dealt with the issues and got them rectified. Given I was so far from them, and got tired of having the car towed back and forth, they hooked me up w the local sytner dealership, they were equally as brilliant in dealing with my issues.
For the record !

Can't say the same about my experiences with two separate dealerships... if you do a few Google searches you will find plenty more negative feedback

I guess part of it is when you are the biggest dealer franchise in the UK you will inevitably **** a few people off in the process

I've had no issues with Sytner owned dealerships either such as Porsche Edinburgh and Graypaul Ferrari Edinburgh however I can imagine that not all are great, given the scale of the group. I did had a crappy experience with their Alpina dealership when they sold a car I was discussing with them to someone else and didn't tell me for a few days or give me the chance to react. I understand first come, first served and all that however there were 9 Alpina F11 D5 Tourings imported so I couldn't just find another!

I wouldn't buy a McLaren for all the reasons I've harped on about for ages. Plus they look like rolling mid-life crisis to me anyway.

I agree, this dealer is a good one. Had many dealings with them and their customer service is excellent.

I dont rate them...The guy who penned them is a big hitter, no doubt.
The first X5. (No beauty queen, lets be honest)
Then he penned both the rehashed the BMW Mini reiteration, and the Fiat 500. Both undeniably successful cars. The 500 basically rescued Fiat from liquidation. Both overtly derivative design objects though...
Its subjective, of course. I dont get Zagatoes stuff either.
Each to their own....

Dennis was removed from his McLaren management roles in 2016 but remained a director of the company and a 25% shareholder until June 2017, when his 37-year association with the company ended.

Looks like he was removed from the Board.

Generalisations never really work....;)

It’s theatre, a spectacle, a moment.
Special.
It’s a bit like ordering a meal and it comes under a cloche.
Nice.

Quite interesting stuff - more like a serious consumer documentary... levels of customer service to make you wince.

Well having watched this from beginning to end what astonishes me more than anything is that these guys still want to be McLaren customers/ owners.
2 **** cars, countless problems and faults, appalling dealer service, finance miscalculations, being contacted about another customers car and having one actually delivered and finally personal insults to boot.
Yet they still wanted one.
Fools.
You reap what you sow.

Unless the menu has pictures, the food is a bit of a surprise. The sheet over the car thing is just pretentious twadle so you can post a video on Instagram of your faux surprise at your new diesel A class.

Confession time: I like Maclarens. A 720S and a 600LT would be a bundle of laughs. Trouble is, reliability, depreciation and possibility that my wife might be right when she says that I'd look like a complete and utter bellend in one.
