Nice result. Good work. Wonder if it has not lost any or had more than it was supposed to and lost a few. Guess we will never know now.

Good to know it is on point now though. I doubt many are without loss after a few years.

Surely there would be a slight gain as everything loosens off after a few miles. Would it not only go down due to compression losses and/or ancillary equipment degradation That would be on a neglected or massive mileage engine.

You'd have to know the wear rates of all sorts of things to be sure of that, surely?

When my first 2002 Classico went on the dyno at 97,000 miles she had 425 horse's with the only alteration being a BMC air filter and some sports silencers I bought from Bill McGrath's.
That car with original gearbox software really was a good car for my inagauration to Maserati and still here

That's good to see. My GS has just turned 100k back in the summer and I sent engine and gearbox oils to Miller's oil for full blood test and results came back perfect. I know you hear a few horror stories but most techs I know rate the 4200 engine bullit proof providing its been well looked after.

Rolling Roads measure at the wheel, whereas Manufacturer generally measure at the crank , so if anything it's gained a few horses or Maserati were estimating. However, the lines at nice and linear and it's reassuring to note that at 3,000 revs it's producing more power and torque than most cars out there...

Here's my manual 3200 (Now owned by Rich) on the same rolling road and note it had never had the cam timing done to my knowledge, I've heard 430-450 hp is possible once they are setup right.

Impressive results for both.

Must try and get mine on the RR sometime, and see what she'll do, the Larini cat's might help her along a bit.
