Hi all,
Just in the process of selling my TVR Tuscan and am looking for a replacement. I've got a Merc estate for running around in, a 1974 Kawasaki H1 for being a hooligan and a 60's Cooper S for racing.
I bought the Tuscan after selling an Alpina convertible that I had for many years and just never quite got on with the TVR. Looking at the usual suspects, Porsche, Aston, Mercedes SL, etc.
I've always liked Maseratis since the Ghibli ii, although I think one of that age is too much of a liability.
Choices on the Maserati front are:
3200 - after just having an £8.5k engine rebuild on the TVR do I want the risk of thrust bearings? Or are the horror stories now just that? Do think they're the best looking
4200 - not sure about the CC box. Whats the CC clutch cost I've been told £2600 but that seems a lot to me?
Spyder - I do like a convertible
GS - worth the premium?
GT - having sat in one I think they're just too big
Thanks Tim
