Interesting. What percentage of posts last year do you think came from members who own a Maserati?

I guess I'm curious as to why that might be important?

I didn't have a Maserati when I joined. I don't have one now. It's very likely I'll have one again. In fact, as much as I want a W12 I keep wibbling at the GT......

...it looks so much better than a Bentley.

And you don’t need a box of Kleenex and Panama hat on the parcel shelf.

I’m awaiting being chased out of SM with sharpened Tridents. Hope you enjoy; not seen the published version of what I wrote yet...
OMG! You’re Nathan Chadwick?!

Absolutely fantastic write-up - thanks so much - really enjoyed it! ...

It features Ghibli Cup, GranSport MC Victory, 3200 Assetto Corsa and GranTurismo MC Stradale.

I’m going to lie down in a dark room ... !
My Strad, and my (ex) MCV. Had two Cups and an AC back in the day as well, so it was great for me to take part in the day and see them all together.
They are all great cars in their own way, but so different as to be incomparable in any logical way. 4 different people would pick 4 different winners.
But having had them all, and driven thousands of miles in them, there’s a good reason why I now have the Strad, not any of the others.
That said, the MCV is still tempting...

You obviously don’t see it as important so that’s fine from your perspective but the name on the tin is increasingly becoming misleading due to the materially reducing number of posts about Maserati cars. I only asked the question to ascertain whether this was due a fall in the number of posts from Maserati owners or not.

Yes, you were looking at the MCV rather lustily all day... there’s an argument to have both as they’re quite different experiences.

Please don't put words in my mouth. I was curious, so I asked a question. Sure I framed it from my personal situation but <shrug>.

Indeed. It would be nice to buy my old MCV back...
I‘d not bother with another Cup though. Shocking build quality, uncomfortable and unsupportive seat, crazy angled steering wheel, pedals too high off the floor, under floor ground clearance so lacking as to mean grounding-out on average country roads, utterly pointless back seats, etc. Fun, quirky and good looking - yes. Better than a Strad or MCV - no.
But hey, we are all different, and this is just my opinion tonight. On another night, it might be different!

The cleanest solution, it seems to me, is to own each one of them!

I think it was driven by my frustration that the forum increasingly has little to do with Maserati.

Sure, but I guess (and I'm really not trying to poke any bears here), why is that a problem? Do you enjoy it here? If so, what's the issue? If not why stay? Are you just looking to talk to a group of people only about Maseratis?
