Scrolling back through the posts something that has become very obvious (to me at least) is that there is a lot more venom in some posts (regardless of topic) over the past year.
Which I guess due to what has happened over the last year can be explained.

Last year (just) I drove from Kent to Aberdeen (almost) and went through a 70’s 80’s 90’s compilation album on the drive up.
And just from the music you could identify the mood of the nation through the music.

70’s was very aggressive. And depressing.
80’s was very happy happy and then uplifting.
90’s was (my youth) and very positive.

I’ve not heard much (new) music this year but am guessing it’s back where the 70’s were without the instruments.

@GeoffCapes
The 70's were Great mate women were burning their bras and the Summer of 76 was amazing.
The 90's was Chavs and Max Power :)

For those with money (I guess) but for those who had it a bit harder I guess the story was a little different. I was born at the back end of 73 so have no idea. But that was just the impression I got from the music.

I was intrigued by this as I didn't hold a particularly different view to you, I thought I would crunch some numbers.

In the last 7 days:

Total posts: 1584
Total posts by top 20 members: 823
% of posts by top 20: 51%
Number of members posting: 157
Number of members for 90% of posts: 77
Average number of posts per member: 10

As of right now there are 60 members online and 129 guests. Today is not a great example though as there are normally well over 100 members online at any given time.

Interesting. What percentage of posts last year do you think came from members who own a Maserati?

As there is no real way of knowing, I don’t think there is a lot of point guessing.

I will guess at how many post were made by people who like Maserati. About 99%, depending on whether the post was about end float, variators or the cost of brake discs.

I think it's Good that ex Maserati owners stay on here and might even get another.
For me it's sad that we have had many owners we don't hear from anymore especially ones who's fingers got burnt by buying the wrong car for them.

You forgot x pipes. 90% of the 99% will, be exhaust noise, x pipe or where to get one.

The fact that we can't get ours cars out much hasn't helped and with more people WFH it is easier to drop into the forum more often and once there it seems logical to read a thread or two and post as necessary. There are more non-car threads in the last year or two most ion which I pop into once a week or so to find out who has upset who and its generally the same small group.

I don't have a Maserati at present but I enjoy hanging around, I would like another and will probably get a Biturbo variant at some point when all this sh1t has calmed down my heart wants a 222 Racing but I am more likely to end up with a Zagato Spyder
