As before, we discussed other car manufacturers such as Renault and Citroen, as we have not done this for a while, thought it would be a good idea to discuss another car maker such as Honda. Over the years they have produced some great cars and some of the most boring. So what do you think of Honda's in general? my opinion is, if it has not got Type R or NSX badge on it, then i am not interested, also share some of your experiences if you have driven or even owned/own a Honda.

For me, the best cars Honda have made are....
DC2 Integra in black (will have one one day)
EK9 Civic Type R (as above)
and of course the NSX (as above) :D

Don't like the yellow one Adam. CRX should be on there..Saw one yesterday..haven't seen one for years and it was in great condition. Also S2000 is a great car.

The yellow one is a beast. CRX they were supposed to be excellent and the S2000 is another one of Honda's good cars. Pity they will not make a replacement.

The second gen Civic Type R was a great hatch and a massive success in britain, would not have one over the original JDM Type R.

The Yellow one is a bit boy racer, was not officially sold in the U.K, if you wanted an original Civic Type R you had to import it. I like it lowered.

The first Integra is a bargain these days, 4-5K will get you a nice one, small price to pay, also what i miss on the newer Type R's, where are the red Recaro seats??

NSX was built as a poor man's Ferrari and they made a pretty good job of it I think.... But they were tiny cars and very tinny as well.... Most suffered the rust bug as a lot of the crittical metal work around the shuts and engine bay sat flat and puddled after rain in all the joints! I would have liked one for a while but never got round to it... Sadly missed in the range now though.

The Septic Tanks (Yanks) loved them a wealthy friend of mine from Connecticut swore it was the best car he'd ever had and was a regular favourite of his for blasting down to the Florida Keys in...

Well Senna did lots of the developement so would imagine they were great......But the only thing missing, and this goes for all cars from the land of the rising sun was passion...Devastating fast cars but just no passion if you know what I mean.

Passion or character, whatever you want to call it. I've had a few J4p cars and they were always extremely reliable and very competent but never really stirred my soul. I still have a Lancer turbo that I'll never sell but it just doesn't have that 'je ne sais quo'. A good fun car though.

going back to what Newton said, the NSX was considered the poor mans Ferrari but in 1992 if someone said to me (i was not born then but i will imagine this bit) what would you rather have Ferrari 348 or NSX; NSX everytime thank you.

I had a yellow 5 for a while but still have an original 1981 Lancer turbo or Evo zero as it's known in low places. It's orange and white as per the works rally cars. It handles like a pig on stilts with its live axle but makes you giggle when giving it some.

however, one Honda which i loathe is the insight, that hybrid thing.

Anyone driven an Accord Type R?? Supposed to be a good handling car those.
