The Accord probably has the best engine note out of all the type r's, 2.2 liter and revs to 9k rpm. They are a bargain right now, it is currently SOTW on Pistonheads although the one they have featured is a shed.

no it was just a marketing idea to shift some more civics. For what the Jordan fetches now you can get the Type R Civic for a little more money which is a much better car. Would quite like an Accord Type R as a cheap daily drive, bet they still feel quick today.

Would imagine insurance on an Accord Type R would be eye watering for you Adam.............A shame as there are some great cheap cars out there but when you come to insure I would imagine its a no no...Ah well you will be 30 one day and then all will be good.

Adam, talking of cars from the land of the rising sun I've just been looking at RX8's as my wife likes them...I drove one when they came out and really thought they were a very goos car..........Loz had one also I believe.................Well I can not believe how much money they have lost. You can pick a 2006 car with 60/70k on the clock for under 4k ........... Thats not a lot of money for a very good car...
