.....they may be thirsty but they are as smooth as a cat p1ssing on glass. A fabulous engine but expensive to run. Where have I heard that before!?

They do drink, same economy as my GTV and maserati.....
Rev to 9k......its the only reason we never went for it, went for 1.8 MX5 instead and the are so reliable.....

When I drove one it was very smooth but spookly quiet.......A very good car for little money.....Where's Loz he did a Cat car for his wife I believe...

He tild ne to buy it andy when i asked for advice he said cant fault it, just running it out us off....
Service is not cheap and not everyone can do it.....

The RX8 drinks petrol though, a mate of mine has one and he says it does 19mpg.

yeah they do not sound interesting, very quiet. Rather a Civic Type R instead for around 5k, could probably get an 03 model for 5k.

A friend had a gti then sold it for 8k got a type r 6k loved it better

I don't think they look old at all Adam.......Mind you the Nissan 350Z that came out at the same time looks a lot fresher and hasn't aged at all.....
