Presents done, turkey in the oven. There was a proposal for marriage this morning too....
Louise's sister was proposed to by her other half, apparently he wants another baby and she said not unless they're married. Who said romance is dead.

Lovely stuff Dan.......the happiest day of all......ours is the smallest in the butchers.......cos only 3 of us.......madame P's new Kindle is getting a tryout...pleased to see we can dowload TV/films and use a small cable to run off the plasma...magic......happy days here too

Well as we are a little ahead of all you guys, it's now boxing day here, so happy Boxing Day, & new year , it feels about 25c here I am out by the pool lying on the new day bed.. Typing this from my wife's new iPad. Must say I have resisted all apple products until now mostly because I am a big windows fan,, but it works well enough. I got the 4g version simple because I don't need to pay for the data.... So should be good for maps etc when travelling.... Just had a lovely cooked bacon & eggs breakfast , next to the pool all cooked in vc champagne,yesterday's left overs no doubt

Tell me Al do you ever get sick if the heat....one baking hot day after another?
Ok we all know about the English weather but the seasons are so varied. I would not want to give up Spring in the UK for anything, clement weather and green and lush at the same time. Summer is OK but never quite gets going and too much rain but it makes going abroad all that more special.
The dark Autumn evenings and the trees turning golden. It's just the dark Winter days when the light fades at 3pm that get me but we do also get snow too.
Glad your coming round to Apple Al, it's great stuff.
People knock Apple but you need rover member without them we would not have these fancy phones and tablets.
They are going to get stuck onto TV's next year, can't wait.
You can tell they have backed off on the phones and see their new market elsewhere, the sign of a firer hinting and innovative company.

I was with you Matt, but now I feel that Apple are becoming a bit of a 'bollox to you' company. They release products that don't work as well as they should and don't really give a stuff about the customer. I am still a fan but don't have the rose tints any more.
