As it happened, today I ordered the first parts for my Maserati project. They will arrive in the form of a pair of Halogen High Power 6000K bulbs for the low-beams. The high-beams will later be upgraded to Xenon 6000K, and all other white lights on the car will also be upgraded to 6000K temperature in order to get a more modern and stylish look on the car. The vehicle itself is in winter hibernation as of now, so there's really no hurry.

Hi Patrik and welcome to the board!

I recognize your name from the Swedish Maserati Club and Forum at Autolife. I'm not a member of Facebook I'm afraid, since most other people that I know are, however, I felt it was as good time as any to prove myself different. :p

As I've seen your threads on Autolife I may just turn to you in the future when the time comes for me to upgrade to a GranTurismo S. Am I correct to assume that you import your cars from Italy?

By the way, do you own any Maserati's at present?

Once again, welcome to the board and I hope you'll enjoy your stay here.

Welcome Alecci, i visited your country last year to join the Maserati Rally in Bastad. My 4200 won the 1st prize in concours d'elegance modern. Later on i drove to some Swedish islands like Kalmar and Gotland. Your nature is beautiful!

Welome Alecci,

What a lovely car you have, super colours and terrific condition. You will find an improvement on handling if you give it the Assetto Corsa treatment, they then corner extremely well. I hope you enjoy the forum, the members are all great, good chat and intersting topics, sometimes really hilarious and heated, but all in good fun. Enjoy.

Cheers

Greetings to all members of the board, long time no see as they say.

Just thought that I'd share with you all some newly taken pictures of my car with its new wheels. I know modifying these Italian works of art are not to everyone's liking, but I still hope you will be able to enjoy them nonetheless.

The car still hasn't been lowered, but it's more or less the first priority on the list as I think it ought to make the new wheels look even better on the car.

During winter hibernation the car has also received a full polish and a pair of GranSport C-pillar Maserati emblems. The polish was carried out in the most amateurish manner by myself, but I must say it acutally does look better now than it did previously, so just maybe I'm starting to get the hang of it.

Hi Alecci, Welcome back! :D

Great photo's! I like the wheels. I think because they look a little like wired wheels they don't clash, but then I'm a sucker for Borrani's, which aren't to everyone's taste.

It'll look different again when you lower it, but not too much I hope, otherwise it'll start to look 'pimped'. :D

Agreed I don't like the modded look but to be fair those wheels do carry it off. The polishing looks smashing too, well done.

Cheers for the comments guys, I'm very pleased with the wheels and also very glad that you like them.

Emtee: This car will not become a pimpmobile, I'll promise you that. I aim to have equal amounts of space between the tires and the wheel arches in front, rear and on top. The estimate lowering will be some 30 millimeters tops, which is a little bit lower than the Assetto Corsa unless I'm mistaken.

Mr.Cambio: The pictures are taken along route 195 between Habo and Jönköping, that's Lake Vättern you see in the background (in fact I partially grew up on an island in that lake called Visingsö). The car will pay a visit to the Kalmar area this weekend, however, as I'll be visiting Emmaboda for an annual drag strip event. No racing with the car for my part though.
