Greetings to the board!
I thought I'd introduce myself a little bit by the means of a proper thread instead of turning other members' ones off-topic.
As you can tell from the thread title (and my profile) I'm from Sweden. I'm 31 years old at the time of writing this and I've recently gone back to school to study logistics since a work-related injury forced me to reconsider my previous career. Through the years I've had the opportunity to own a few exciting cars, including two Nissan Skyline GTR's (one R33 and one R34) which I imported from the UK. I still have the R34 GTR, but since it seldom gets used these days I'm seriously contemplating to sell it.
I just recently purchased my '99 Maserati 3200 GT and after just having owned it for four short weeks, it's due to pass into winter hibernation for a few months. Regrettably I've not had the opportunity to drive the car very much because of the very poor late summer's weather over here with basically nothing but rain day after day.
The car itself has quite a high mileage at 81.000 km's, but it's very well maintained with a full service history and even some operations performed ahead of schedule (such as no less than three cam belt changes, the last at 65.000 km's). The exterior sports a - fairly exotic from what I've come to understand - wine reddish colour known in Maserati language as Villoresi Rosso and has a beige interior with brownish piping.
In the future I'm considering some audio and suspension upgrades in order to customize the car more to my liking. No worries though, the car will not be turned into any sort of ICE-monster, my perception of the best audio installation is that it should be heard but not seen. Handling performance of the car in it's standard form is not bad, but there's few things in life that cannot be improved. Primarily I'll be looking to lower the car a bit and reduce body roll, so some of the first things on the list will be uprated Asetto Corsa items such as springs and anti-roll bar.
Now for some pictures of the car itself, I hope you'll enjoy them.
