The battery should be vented to the outside by a small pipe plus they contain very little (relatively) moisture, so I wouldn’t be looking there, even if the alternator was overcharging.
For condensation you need a surface that is colder than the dew point of the air. This means either a) the humidity is artificially high or b) the surface is very cold. A is much more likely so I’d be checking for water under the battery, the boot seal, the seal around the rear lights, as if there is no water the humidity would drop to normal levels when the boot was opened.
