Looks like it will be going down to the wire with two races left which is good. If the next race ends the same as this one but Hamilton gets the fastest lap they will be level pegging for the last race. That would make for a great last race.

Great result for Alonso. Verstappen vs Alonso and Ocon vs Perez were some proper bits of racing.

Would really like Sainz to do well. But the only time I seem to support Ferrari is when they’re shite!

Can’t believe what’s been reported as Horner’s comments on Max’s penalty, that it was the marshal’s fault, did he really say that?

I believe Toto said last week “feck them all” amongst others referring to stewards and Masi. No visit to the stewards required though, so I don’t really see why Horner had to go today.

They’re all a bit annoying apart from the Haas guy (no idea how he still has a job) and Toto Wolff.

The only reason Toto doesn’t annoy me is that whenever he speaks it reminds me of this, he even seems to be developing the neck muscles!

Seemed more of a celebratory punch the air comment to me. But I am generally shocked at the language many of the teams use on what is essentially an open radio channel including that. Have you heard any of Ricciardo’s radio coms live it’d be one long bleep on the TV ?

That seems to be the F1 style…. The Haas guy is actually one of the worst…f this and effing that. It all adds to the show I guess, although I find Toto a bit patronising. I like the sarcasm and humor of Horner, he at least keeps it relatively clean. The McLaren guy is boring as is the Aston guy. It seems the Ferrari guy is MIA but when he does speak it is very diplomatic. We don’t get to hear much from Prost Which is a pity.

I don’t really listen to Toto at all you just know that most of what he says has no base in reality!

Well at least then there is something they can talk about for the next 30 years

yes there most certainly will be. The temptation of going all in might be too strong for the young one. As long as lewis ends up out, so thats rear wheel on front, max will win.

Looks like Lewis will need to win the next two, unless Max has a DNF, which only seems likely if he causes it himself.

I think I'd rather be in Hamiltons position than Max's at the minute. Despite the slender points lead Max has the Merc is so much quicker. Added to that the Saudi track is a power track its in Mercs hands now

As for Horner (or any of them for that matter).. they all appear nice guys until the going gets tough! That said the circumstances of the waved yellow must have p*ssed them off (including Bottas).. the graphic said track clear, the steering wheel warning lights did not show the yellows, nor the track side warning lights. It was the one marshall that waved the flags
