The scissor lift will make the difference I reckon. Nothing worse than scrabbling about under a car on axle stands and supporting engines and gearboxes on your knees! With Marios there to guide you, you can't go wrong. Maybe you'll get a few owners asking you to do the job for them!

My MOT guy is a star and I can borrow one of his many 4 posters for a small drink and he's a gearbox specialist so plenty of advice and muscle, props and jacks on hand as needed. One of the workshops is an auto electrician with just about every setup going, I've asked him about SD2/3 and he does not have them but says there are emulators but as yet he has never needed them. Still think I'm erring more towards one of the local indies to sort the PIS.

Newton, if you get the clutch in and running you can drive your car to an Indie and get them to set it up at their place.

I do know there was a guy in London who had a van and SD2/3 and you can hiring him to come out and do jobs onsite. I cant remember the particulars, but it might be worth looking him up again.

Hello Conaero
You now know me better and Im the style of men who love to do it myself too..I would be interested by your opinion !
For the Sd2/3 Im not sure you need this to do the clutch change. My frend with a QP had to bring his car to official maserati for a recall and they said his cluth wat 110% used on the SD2 but in perfect condition. It was changed by a little garage withoiut SD2 so he did not reset the sensor. That makes me think it is not usefull to reset it. Maybe Im false..
Here is a link on my website to download the 4200 workshop manual, everything is very clear in it.

LINK IS HERE

Hope it will help you

It seems I did have it. Was hoping for something more like the manuals I've seen in the past :) Thanks, anyway.
