At sea World in Orlando about 15 years ago before the show started the announcer asked all veterans in the audience to stand, serving, ex veterans and the families of those no longer with us.
Thousands then applauded them, it was quite a moving experience, I don't know how veterans are treated in the US compared to the UK where it appears to be pretty badly, nobody who's served their country should be struggling to stay alive in one of the richest countries in the world.

Well...not sure I trust much data out of Russia...but otherwise agreeI will have to observe that on that diagram, it's probably directionally accurate (i.e. the US has far more shootings that Europe and Russia) but there are a lot factors that could be included and are not

District I work with has installed Evolv body scanners at entries, and kids still try to bring firearms in. It's so upsetting and so unnecessary...And over how long? When was the last UK school shooting? Dunblane in 1996? Which was 26 years ago
Another big difference, as wellI think it's something to do with computer games that people get addicted too and then can't distinguish between reality and the game they spend hours on.
Stuff like Grand Theft Auto where you can do diabolical things as if it's the normal thing to do it.
