Interestingly, was watching a program on tv about building the portofino the other day, they have a very complicated jig with lasers to align up everything so that it operates smoothly, can imagine it being a nightmare without.Think getting that hard top roof to work properly again will be one of the harder parts of that repair.
nah a doddle, nothing a bit of black gaffa tape and t cut wouldn't sort outI’m no expert but I would have thought to get that back to tip top shape would be ‘tricky’

Not entirely surprised. It seems like they've been trying to flog this 1994 Ferrari 456 since about 1992.Just been reading that Coys of Kensington have gone into administration.

You can't flog dead horses that long and expect to stay in the race.

Well, that's a good thing, because it was not originally black. I've seen the service history and other paperwork....and I would not go near this car.What was wrong with that one? black/black Colour is not my preference but always loved the shape.
Wow - so it did. Clearly the market is already dropping on these cars (presumably others too). In saying that;A cat D 456 (but nice looking with good history) just sold for £25k on collectingcars
Thanks for the steer. The H & H 456 looks like a deliberate low estimate to increase interest.Furthermore - there are some 'more than competitively priced' 456 manuals on offer at present. I recall a few forum members saying that they were interested in a 456, and I would have thought their interest would be piqued by either of these two;

I appreciate this may sound strange - but is dealer liquidity / balance sheet / financial viability an issue if / when looking to buy a car like this at present? If indeed some dealers are possibly rolling over you'd hate to shell out this coin and find out your money disappeared into a parallel universe...
Couple of ill fitting doors to overcomecant do bugger all now with the bloomin weather, so trawling the interweb, came across this and always had a hankering for a Sebring (modern day Healey) if I didn't have the giulietta project would have seriously thought of bidding on this, seems tidy and not much work needed to complete
