I keep getting an itch for Bentleys - no I mustn't....

The CSi looks nice and I love the Karmann styling, although it looks as though the listed car has no current MOT, or have I missed something?

Ghibli looks nice but I’d rather a manual and a later one. Still, £18k spent at McGrath so should be on the ball...

The 560 SEC, Dimma 205 (sorry!), DS Safari, Corvette etc tickle the fancy but the 450 SEL 6.9 would be a fantastic (but potentially ruinous) project.

looks like on dvla site MOT expired may 2010, may be new MOT not loaded on web site yet and/or MOT due to be done prior to auction date??
I suspect it will reach way in excess of guide if as described, some figures achieved at auctions lately are mind blowing, ACA have just sold a low mileage Ford Sierra RS Cosworth (not an RS500) for a gobsmacking 80k plus commission, that's just mental moneyo_O

I watched the auction for that one and thought it expensive at 30K but when it got to 80K and people started clapping like on a Ryan Air flight just Crazy.

I wasn't there but did see that on a video link, ACA just seem to get crazy figures in their auctions, really cant work out why, I genuinely think the buyers are smoking something up there;), been there once and bit of a lacklustre affair

There's a load of overpriced rubbish there. The 205GTI with the body kit on is nice for not a lot of money though.

My God, the depreciation on these! That must have been spec'd 2x that price. Mind you, with 36k miles on it, it's good to see one getting used.

I saw one on the M25, well I think it was one of these, they all kinda look the same.
But as it was in a dark blue it looked rather striking. Perhaps I am mellowing to them.

Still needs a noisy exhaust!

Ferrari made the F40 noisy, and sound good, and that had a turbo, so why can't the rest of them?

If I was less sensitive to depreciation, the things that would still put me off a Macca are:
  • the sound (I think the 720 sounds better, though)
  • lack of an indie dealer network
  • the fact that silly niggles still seem to be prevalent
  • I'd look like a massive cock if I drove one (according to Mrs Crud*)
* And she's never wrong.**

Prices seem a bit all over the place here, mostly on the high side but a few that look good value.

Quite like the idea of a big old Merc saloon though

I know Simon Furlongers near me service a few Maccas.

So should I have the required £££'s laying around to purchase one, I could get it serviced there.
When Mrs Crud says you'd look like a massive cock. Doesn't she say that when you aren't in a car?

Not seen one that cheap....if that's what it goes for.....That's some performance and looks for the money. Not many with nearly 40k on the clock so that may be why. They do start under 100k now with lower miles.

I like the Maccas, I keep looking at them and a 720S it would have to be.

Ashley has done a few and we know someone in the trade who has the software.
