Delay in place....Labour now touting its a Remain party.
Lib Dem’s unique factor has just evaporated.

Jeremy Corbyn's three most senior colleagues broke with their leader to declare Labour a Remain party, as they were cheered at the giant Westminster rally for a Final Say referendum on Brexit.
John McDonnell, the shadow chancellor, Diane Abbott, the shadow home secretary, and Emily Thornberry, the shadow foreign secretary, all made clear Labour's determination to keep the UK in the European Union.
I could not trust Corbyn. He's not pro-EU. His mentor Tony Benn was anti-eu. Corbyn never came out as a remainer during the referendum campaign. As for those others, Abbot and McDonell I have very little regard for.

Boris getting a senior aid to send a photocopy of an unsigned letter...
I suppose he thinks he's being clever, when really it is just bad manners and showing himself to be a pathetic and spineless bad loser.
The thought of this man representing the UK... I guess no more shocking than Trump being the leader of the free world.
Having dried my eyes from the touching message/emoticons of support earlier I have read this and it’s a damned good question,
Who is fit to lead the Divided Kingdom?

Alternatively, you could say that all the remainers who are thwarting the democratic vote of the British are pathetic and spineless bad losers. Corbyn being the worst two faced pr**k ever. And Boris is the strong and determined leader trying to deliver the will of the majority.

Well I for one would never dare to suggest such For fear of offending-
but you are entirely correct.

You lot are brilliant just brilliant!!! You must have heard of the term “ keep your friends close but your enemies closer “ haven’t you?
He’s playing a blinder if you’re a fan of his. So he’s simultaneously saving his party from a certain destruction, now brought the EU into playing his Binary game too, into lancing the boil of a now stagnant Tory Brexit, kept parliament at bay by making them react rather than lead, pitched people against parliament (The very thing that people apparently voted for, that sovereignty issue), in the process, he washes his hands of whatever results ie the fallout if we remain or leave ultimately and in the process makes the voter think about the consequences of Scotland, Ireland, the union, the economy etc when the voter goes to the polls. Ie if general election, referendum, final say etc. He’s still a div to many but how else does he keep the beloved ERG at bay. He’s promised them an orgasmic no deal crashout by just waiting a little longer, while quenching Farage and simultaneously trying to keep his moderates in check.....question is do people see through it and does it/ will it butter their parsnips. Clever but still a Div.

The cleverest part though is how he’s getting the Sportsmaserati Brexit Thread very angry and excited!!!;)

It's next to Jack $h1t about the headline political rhetoric stuck to a bus and and some banners.
How/Who pays for the bits of paper to let me design a safe bridge. I could go back to old BS stuff but that wouldn't allow me to do anything outside our little rock. I'll stick to Eurocodes because they're very well thought through, if a bit long winded, and allow me to work anywhere in the EU and USA and pretty much anywhere else I fancy. If we leave then we'll spend gazillions setting up parallel systems to maintain BS versions of CEN agreed standards for every item produced. How the freak will that ever save the UK money? Oh I know, we'll buy the standards off the EU at vastly inflated prices to save a few bob of our precious sovereign wealth.

I'm not pro/anti EU or UK - I'm just a UK taxpayer so want to see some value and common sense.

Rant over.. again

What are you going on about???

BSi and CEN are independent of governments and absolutely nothing to do with politics or Brexit. 2016 BSI staged this clearly that ALL standards remain unaffected so we continue to observe PAS documents as indeed we would recognise any National standard, next level CEN or EN documents continue to take precedence as indeed will an ISO.

As an author of standards and sitting on standards committees I can state these as FACTS I’m not quoting some fourth hand bullish!t copied from an unknown source.

you will be claiming we will have to have straight bananas next!

Oscar Wilde's quote about fox hunting comes to mind: "The unspeakable in pursuit of the inedible." I'd change the last word to "undeliverable".

I would agree now, as I said before, writing on the wall, undeliverable, they couldn’t, wouldn’t deliver the people’s bidding, so it is likely to return to the people to “re” decide......
Let’s just dissolve Parliament totally and be ruled by Europe..........

That's what'll happen if we revoke now. It'll be seen as a mandate to steamroller everyone and anyone who doesn't think Europe should be a single country with a single tax system and a single currency. The UK legal system (case law), which is entirely incompatible with Europe (intepretive law) will have to disappear too.

Oh and it'll be goodbye veto, goodbye rebate, goodbye any soft power whatsoever. It's game over for the UK if we return to the fold now.

Johnson's behaviour in this is beyond reprehensible, he's done the needful by law and requested the the extension but unsigned, and followed it with another saying that's not what he wants.

That's a step too far for me on top of many other steps of similar ilk.

He just wants his blue plaque...
So if Mr Johnson's behaviour is 'beyond reprehensible', how would you describe a Parliament which has used every possible means to defy the electorate?

The knowledgeable SMDRP gentleman is of course totally correct (once again) in his assessment.
I would never be caught screwing something and with my weight this is a subject that I would never take lightly.

This is a farce of the highest order. The best result now is a no deal Brexit then everyone can get on with their lives but until everyone knows the outcome the economy will remain stagnant and consumer confidence at an all time low. This is not what we all voted for. The Country is a shambles brought on by these self-serving pricks in the cabinet. The whole lot of them should be sacked and flogged in front of the public.
