Watching this now, may as well stay prorogued. Absolutely useless.

Lots of good stuff being done about Thomas Cook and other things. There is business other than Brexit that needs doing. Johnson’s fit of pique was doing more that impacting the Brexit business.

Brilliant.....this is what we need more of....on both sides of the fence and all the idiots sitting on it to get off it.

We need to be brave and bold, not just keep pu55y footing around the issues.

Winds me up when you get people that are so negative lacking so much creative thought just moaning about you can't do this and you can't do that. How about getting off your negative a4ses and actually offer some REAL creative thought as to how these issues can be resolved.

Apparently I’m a facist now, oh well, I’d better go and ask my rainbow family if that is acceptable?

but it is ok as from here on the Liberal Democrat’s are not going to be democratic according to their leader so we will need a dictator to run the effin country anyway!
No Farage is a fascist not you. Look at the type of followers that joined the 'pound shop party', I see the brexit party as similar if not worse.
These two parties have adjusted the political landscape already. The language that 'normally' centre right politicians are coming out with is abhorrent. They would not have said such words ten years ago but now it seems acceptable.
Yesterday's tirades on BOTH sides of the house is not good debate, just mud slinging. It's devisive its non productive (much like this thread) and it's exactly what Farage wants. The Conservative and Labour parties will lose a lot of seats to the Brexit Party and Farage will be sat in a coalition party soon as deputy PM.

Though JC was a complete pleb. I had to walk out of the room when he was talking. They are all....everyone of them a bunch of idiots but JC annoys me more than all of them I think. All need sacking....Also trying to understand what law BJ broke..and how did he get one over on the Queen. I take it they interviewed the Queen before they made this decision. It's all a complete load of b0llocks.

He can’t suspend Parliament just to avoid scrutiny. He said he wasn’t but the judges were satisfied that he was. All of the talk afterwards about the decision getting in the way of Brexit talks etc seems to prove that the judges were right.

I’ve no problem with him trying to sort this out. He can’t do it in private though. It has to be under Parliamentary scrutiny otherwise it sets a dangerous precedent going forward. After all this was all about taking back control from the undemocratic EU and giving power back to the UK Parliament.

The Queen has to do what the PM ‘advises’ she doesn’t have a choice. Well she has one, once, then her powers would be abolished.

So Wattie, in the interest of balance, why don’t you post a link to the Annually published E.U. budgets and reports direct from the E.U’s website. As I’m sure every member state has an Accountable Treasury and knows exactly what and why it contributes, what it contributes for, in its membership because no country obviously can function or tax its people without an appropriate, legitimate and approved structure. :):)

Still all a load of b0llocks Mick........What would have been a breath of fresh air was for them all to go back and put their differences aside until after the 31st and get a deal done together. Instead they all stood there in the public eye behaving like spoilt children....for all to see. If anyone watch that rabble yesterday and though any of them were fit the run this country then good luck to us all. Parliment should be abolished and we should start again. I feel a revolution coming on.

Totally Agreed Andy.
I have never seen such bad behaviour especially by so called educated people.
Absolute disgraceful.
I hope people stay calm but I think you are right sad to say.

I think MY personal net contribution via tax to the EU was £38 per year whereas its over £4,000 to the NHS and £4,000 for welfare. That's less than my BT broadband and TV per month.

No Farage is a fascist not you.

I'm glad you said it, I was worried I had somehow inadvertently abused someone...

For the record, I don't believe that voting for Farage means you are a facist, just that to tick that box on the ballot, simply because of brexit, and to be able to disregard/ignore all of his, and his other party members traits and what they stand by, you must be very devoted imo - which is where why I used the term hard line leaver, which to me means uncompromising on that policy.
Obviously, unless you agree with Farage on everything, in which case, well, a spade is a spade.

Though JC was a complete pleb. I had to walk out of the room when he was talking. They are all....everyone of them a bunch of idiots but JC annoys me more than all of them I think. You don't have to like him, or indeed any other politician. It isn't a talent show, it's a government.

As I understand it, and I'm sure we have members much more qualified than I to describe this, but... Boris broke constitutional law.
The UK's constitution is not a document, or even a series of documents. It's a bunch of laws and historical judgements, that often are ambiguous, and it's appreciated that there is movement over time. That's why the Supreme Court is required to make the call.
If you want an actual written down thing to highlight what Boris broke, then perhaps UK isn't the place for you. You need somewhere with more clarity. The EU's Treaty of Lisbon might be a nice place to start. The US constitution and it's amendments is a nice example of when this fails a little, as rules are written down to protect the people against tyrannical governments, and 200 years later, used to reinforce sport, and cock waving.

I'm too much of a lefty for this thread on here...

And likewise voting for Corbyn does make you a communist or Lib Dem a vegan guardian reading hermaphrodite.

Politics and this thread has become too polarised.

Remember there's always two ways to crack a nut.
