The Guardian are reporting Cold War Plans to be revived and moving the Queen to a place of safety.
I really hope there is not Civil unrest after seeing some of the mess here in France.View attachment 54112

Reporting from where, something they made up, the queen didn't move to a place of safety when hitler was bombing her house so I hardly think she'll be going now, more risk of getting killed if philip is driving than anything that's likely to happen in the next few months.

I think the Queen's cheeses will be quite safe...i Wonder if she is partial to a bacon and brie butty... Cut diagonally of course...

I thought some of you may be interested in my recent tax code notice which includes how my tax contributed to public spending in the UK. This also included National Insurance contributions.
I was amazed to see that 24% of my tax went to welfare (benefits), 20% went on health, 13% went towards state pensions and 12% went towards education. What makes things worse was that a massive 0.7% went towards the EU contribution.
Interesting thought.

“The fragile Tory truce over Brexit has been shattered after Theresa May admitted there is "no suggestion" of scrapping the Irish backstop - triggering fresh anger from her anti-EU MPs.

Under pressure from business leaders in Belfast, the prime minister let slip that she will only seek "changes" to the controversial backstop - not its removal - in fresh talks in Brussels on Thursday.

The comment was seen as backtracking on last week's Commons vote that it should be "replaced with alternative arrangements", which Ms May had ordered Conservative MPs to support.”

So what on Earth was the purpose of MP’s voting (under orders) on something (Brady amendment) that, she, the Pm will then ignore and Europe will refuse to renegotiate on.

This whole thinks stinks..........why is she constantly bowing to Europe’s side?

Surely the real danger for remainers and leavers and the fate of the UK is that we end up with “Mays deal” which is that of a sub-serviant country to Europe with no say.......possibly forever.

Neither side wants that...surely.

I’d rather remain than accept that as I’ve said before......or take no deal.
Do remainers want Mays deal?

Totally agreed one of the Biggest and Corrupt Farce ever costing the Country an absolute fortune.
If they had never started it and spent the money improving the broken infrastructures and making things better for a lot of people they wouldn't have spent as much.
They should be held accountable.

String 'em up!

Depending on how this fiasco ends, I'm seriously considering moving abroad for a year or so.

if Mays deal goes through it’s TOTAL surrender of everything. The Uk effectively ceases to exist as a sovereign nation.
This “stupid” incompetent treacherous woman needs to be replaced and fast......she tells every side a different story and it’s scandalous as the repercussions are huge.

May’s deal delivers the outcome of the referendum, whether you like it or not it’s what was voted for.

We also need to remember that deal or no deal it’s only a transition phase and is not meant to be permanent.

What?
Naive at best..... We can’t leave unless they let us!
Europe will never let us leave.
France will want fishing rights, Spain will want Gibraltar, anyone of the countries can “veto” our leaving......and demand something.
I didn’t vote for them to “control” us. I voted to leave and that ain’t leave!

Glad you’re ok with it though.......total capitulation of a sovereign position.241AAE8C-7C38-4C7A-BE49-D760634B4282.jpeg

The referendum question was to leave the EU. That’s what’s happening. Most who campaigned for Brexit wanted free trade with Europe but not be part of the EU. The backstop actually delivers this but by the backdoor.

Didnt say I was ok with it. I’m not ok with any of it. But then I voted against Brexit because I knew it would be a mistake.
