Yeah, I’m not sure what’s off putting about a W12, the delivery is glorious is it not?
Nothing off putting, just I have always wanted a V12.
I do admire the contimental GT but don't list for one. That mulliner interior is fabulous though.

Wether the team caught on to the reference before hand or not..

It's a bit unlikely I'd have thought, that that plate was on a car that they could take for that show? I guess there's no way to get the history of a plate as opposed to the history of the car?

would of thought all planned in advance, Argentinians were quick to see the reference

I mean how many cars are there in the pool of suitable ones? The odds of that plate being on one must have been miniscule.

I do wonder if the Argentinians were primed as it was thought that some tension might make good TV.....

see what you're saying, so must of transferred plate to that particular car, tend to think the same thing about priming in advance

I used to work with Pete Bossley (Al O Peesha) We worked at the same newspaper before his death (he was a columnist/news editor at the Stoke Sentinel). He was a character; at the time I was a heavy smoker and appreciated the fact he’d lit one up and inhaled half of it in one go before he’d even pressed the door to exit the building... upsetting the annoyingly loud ***** near the door

Having owned a flying spur speed, the advice is go for a 2008 or newer. They were much more reliable. Serious bills regardless and some seemingly simple jobs are 1000s in labour due to access.

I am going to get some hate for this... I like the Conti Gt, only in black, with decent wheels and Mulliner driving pack... even pondered the idea of one as a weekend toy.. this one caught my eye with Supersports while looking at a Quattroporte at the same garage - https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202007080989936

The QP looked quite nice too.. https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/202007171370145

I have an excuse for the Bentley... i live in Cheshire so it fits right in..

And back to my senses..

Hey, I drove one before Christmas. Extraordinary things. Frankly the interior puts the GT to shame.

One of my 3 next car choices will be a GT Speed. However there are about 2 for sale(1) right now, and they are black on black
