Bentley Continental GT getting cheap

Phenomenal cars. Very quick, nice to drive, wel built, lovely place to be inside.....but terrible, terrible image.

I think they look great in Black, with light cream leather in the Mulliner spec....but still, no getting away from the image.
How do they compare in the reliability stakes vs a Maserati? I suspect significantly better given their VW parentage, but I might be wrong.

Sorry guys but I think the interiors are in another league compared to the Massers. Just stunning compared to my old QP.

Personally I agree with a lot of the above but the interior is a wonderful place to be and, given the terrible fuel consumption, perhaps sitting stationary in central London is their natural and best habitat! A friend had one for about 18 months replacing his V10 M5 and found it dull to drive (assume due to the engine mounted so far forward), fast on the motorway, cheaper than a Maser to run (VW/Audi parts bin) and averaged 13mpg. Soon after the footballers and their wives moved on to SUVs I think the image has improved and I believe the 4litre twin turbo version is a much better car - similar performance, better handling and 20mpg but still c£50k. The latest Panamera platform Conti is supposed to be very good indeed but still north of £100k. Give me a proper bespoke Bentley any day - Mulsanne or late 90s Conti.

I had a 2009 continental w12, around 3 years ago.
Very expensive in maintenance, always had some sort of light on the dashboard.
Mulliner interior is a must..

Just seems to be far too much choice around the £45-60k nowadays....
And I always do the ....well....maybe I could stretch another 5k.....

Dangerous territory....

Have to agree...Makes Maserati look fisher price. Bentley know how to make a very special interior. The new Continental looks just stunning in and out and there would definatily be one in my dream garage.
