Any ideas what this could be?

Hello all

Bit of a long shot and may not be off my Gransport, but thought I would ask the question.

I parked my car in front of my garage to wash it Saturday. I have been away in the car over the weekend
and on returning I caught sight in the headlights something on the floor. Now this would have been around the rear wheel
area.

So my question is does anyway recognise the part pictured?

It could be off my work truck, but weird how it has appeared where the Gransport was parked.

Thanks for any ideas

It looks like a tensioner spring for a hand brake/park brake mechanism, where the one cable splits in two for each rear wheel, not sure if it will be off the Mas. though.

cheers for swift reply.

It could be off my VW Transporter which thankfully I am changing for a new one next week, so more than likely off that.

The two white bits are from a cheap A5 note book - the quality of the paper is very low and the grain is visible in the paper.

The metal bit is the retaining pin for the hyperspace button - whatever happens DO NOT PRESS THE HYPERSPACE BUTTON with this pin removed.

Failure to achieve hyperspace results in massive disappointment leaving the occupant feeling inadequate. You will want to grow a beard and smoke a pipe whilst wearing slippers in front of a nice fire.
You will buy an anorak
You will travel to Crewe to look at trains
You will want to sell your Maserati and buy a Kia
It could not be much worse.

I would love to know what your smoking in your pipe!! ;-)

And guilty as charged, it is paper from a very cheap note book, Tesco vintage I think :)
