Through a 'friend' I have access to a couple of options, a legitimate debit collection agency that will work on 25-40% commission on what they recover and another company that operates as a legitimate 'security' firm that has a debt collection arm, where you may not see any actual cash back.... I've met one of the arms and it was bigger round than my leg!!! I wouldn't argue with him! I have never had need to employ their services to date but I sure as heck wouldn't want to have them knocking on my door.

That said (and I don't condone intimidation) this sort of collection would pretty much ensure your own cars and house would be free from any retaliatory attack; unless they were really stupid.....

Good luck with whatever steps you take.

Starting to look really good Dicky. If that level of finish is carried through to the end you will have one of the very best and don't worry, your enthusiasm will increase as it all starts to go back together.

Looking good!
Like my Stag, I had as much paint under the car, and behind the wings/panels!
It's worth it though, with plenty of waxoyl or similar as well, my Stag is still good 22 years later...no driving on salty roads though!

Those two shots remind you just how thin the A & B pillars were on those motors - compaired to modern safety cell cars that is!

Great to see the progress and someone looking after an older car which was never the most sought after.

Saw a white Alfa 33 in Headingley this week. With a Madrid number plate. Looked really good and time has been kind to the appearance. On an old VCR tape have the original advert for the facelift model. Will keep me busy this weekend trying to find it !

I think the 33 still looks really nice, particularly in the flesh, photos don't really do them justice. I'd be really interested to see a TV advert, I've found a few in Italian which are quite good, this one is for the 16v from around 1991:

Dickyb

Leave it with me - I should have done what every sensible person did either chuck them out or transfer them to DVD. I kept them as they had twin peaks on them (all over the place) but somewhere I hope the biro Alfa 33 ad will still be visible!

Good luck with your other more important battles !
