I think for originality you keep the original size but if you want the Boy Racer look from your youth some 185/60/13.
I'm keeping my 4 standard but I'm building another into a sleeper for my fun project.
As I thought. Want to go original but wondered if a 155/165 would add a bit more stability/grip without ruining the look.

I find my 4 on its skinny rims and tires handles exceptionally well on the French countryside roads and reckon wider tyres would slow it down.

After about an hour driving it this afternoon, I can understand all the superlatives that have been used by journalists to describe it. Feels very quick (quicker than it is maybe), but rides like an exec saloon and makes a joyful noise with the sports exhaust. And the fit and finish is excellent. Can’t wait to drive it again. A future classic IMHO if the numbers remain relatively low.

Love the new Alpine, wouldn't have thought of that colour but it really suits it

Thank you. It wasn’t my initial first choice either, but when I saw it in the showroom, I really liked the colour combination. And it is limited edition of which there will only ever be one sold in Portugal. That sealed it

Great colour, chosen by Zoe I guess?

What spec did you get, specifically seats? I noticed that you can only get heated seats in the UK if you avoid the really sporty seats (can't remember the name). I guess not an issue in Portugal.

Those seats look absolutely beautiful what a nice colour combination.
We have a bespoke Alpine Dealership in Renne I'm going to have to make a visit.

Ah well, the MD of Alpine is something like 6’7“, and it was designed to comfortably accommodate him. I’m 6‘2”and there is loads lots of space still behind my seat.

The Legende GT is sold out, but the Legende has the same seat design, but with a different stitching pattern.

Having “lived with” the car 5 days now, it has completely blown me away. Deeply impressive in every way and unreservedly recommended to anybody thinking about this type of car.

But what's it sound like?

Can you put an Haitch pipe on it?

I might dip my toe in the Alpine waters...

I have the Legende GT, which has the non-fixed Sabelt seats - they are more comfortable but still very supportive and have height adjustment and heating.

The Pure has the fixed and lightest Sabelts that cannot come heated.

Great seat colour...So much better than the black you see on most and looks great against the exterior. Just stunning Rwc13. Currently the best car of this type from what I read. Enjoy.

I thought exactly the same

C
she must be 7 foot tall! Always fancied an Exige but entry and egress far too tricky for me and I was about to write off the idea of an Alpine for the same reason. CGI or camera angle? or is she 7 foot tall?

She’s actually 5 ft 4 and from Slough, hence the number plate.
