I had a rally media day ride in the equivalent Celica on the right with with the Australian Rally Champion back when these were new. The course included a famous downhill section called "the mineshaft", where you launch into the air and land halfway down the hill. Awesome experience. The driver was Neal Bates. My enduring memory was how quick his hands were on the steering wheel.
