nice space, are all the structural timbers in good shape

All the structural timbers are Oak as is the weather cladding boards on the outside.
Think it was built back in the late 70's and not to a budget.
Couldn't build it today for what we paid for the whole property.

Nearly crapped myself when on site this morning I spotted one of the van tyres had suddenly gone very bald (no doubt from towing the big trailer), left Hackney on a sedate run straight to my tyre guy:

Yep; the structure had gone and it was 'lumpy' when we took it off! I do very regular tyre checks and it was fine in Middlesbrough at the weekend, legal amount of tread and fairly even wear; guess I found the load limit of the van!

For you guys who may not know, that lump is a super rare Ford SOHC 427. Hemi heads, single cam with rockers and a 7' long timing chain to drive them. NASCAR took one look and said no way. Wow!

I think the last few weeks teararsing about overloaded have taken their toll and the massive trailer was just the final nail for it. What is shocking is how quickly it when from legal to this!
