Always noticed your photo. Never clocked where it was without the concrete wall.

Studebaker Lark behind you?
Des Leonard in a Chrysler Valiant, not Lark. He would pass me on the straights, and I'd get him on the corners, and under brakes. We had a great battle, although in different capacity classes. Managed to pass him in the braking area on the last lap, and get to the finish in front...

"I was not interested at all in Formula One when I left; I was very busy with my airline. But slowly I started missing the adrenaline rush and the driving of such fantastic cars at the limit. In reality this urge never disappears when you're a top driver, because I think we're a different breed of people, we need to take chances, we need to push ourselves to the limit all the time, that sort of thing. It stays with you, although you can kill it by losing motivation or other things in your life, but it never leaves you forever." Niki Lauda 1949 - 2019 84792

Loved working here until we were taken over by the big chain who wanted a prestige brand and wanted us to work like Hyundai technician's.
Good whilst it lasted.
