No offence was intended and I apologise if you were upset.I can understand his frustration, he did partially explain in post 2079, which since I've found out something else makes a bit more sense of his position.
Wattie I wasn't trying to push your buttons I genuinely didn't understand.
I've spent most of my train journey Googling things like "Rees Mogg Backstop" and "Brexiteer, ERG backstop" and all they come out with is the usual stuff about freedoms and sovereignty. Eventually I found this, in the Guardian of all places, I'm pretty sure Wattie has the same view as me of that particular paper:

Now I understand the Brexit side, up until I found this out I didn't know about the "common regulatory area" I just thought it was a common customs area.
