Well it's finally back home in Silverstone.

A lovely bit of M25 stop start traffic helped me get used to the gearbox and then a quick blast up the M40 & A43 - oh it does sound nice.

Unfortunately it now needs wash.

Mine's filthy after a good run out down some rainy Suffolk back-roads yesterday. Looks great!

Hahahaha, the price of enjoyment...washing the car, we all have that problem..!!

Might ask Matt to come over and give it some of his attention as he is obviously very proficient at cleaning it, maybe he could teach me how to do it properly ;)

Will get my cleaning kit out if we get a dry hour or two - or might just take it out for another blast, cleaning can wait ;)

I've had them sideways at too high a speed and £££££££££ signs flash before your eyes mate, so pucker up your twitchy rear end and hold on for dear life, these have a lot of power just waiting to catch you out..!!

I will be careful, my QP IV has a wiggly bum when those twin turbos kick in even in a straight line. The Spyder feels like it will give a bit more warning

Don't count on it! The rears can spin up very quickly if not careful in the wet and, with the shorter wheelbase, it can snap sideways before you can say "what the fuc......?". I know, I've done it a couple of times.

Always the bit I enjoy about driving an open top, clear sky, stars and the distinct V8 sound bouncing off the trees & hedges - can't beat it
