Good to see you earlier Dave. The wheel looked just the part. How did it feel?

For those considering the cruise stalk, yes it's plug and play, though you do need to re-route the wiring loom from below the steering wheel to above. Bit of a faff, but nothing more than that.

Also lusted over this......

Yes, likewise.

Wheel feels good and now looking forward to getting the other bits done next week.

Have a great Christmas when it comes.

Thanks Dave, and you too. Looking forward to reading your thoughts once your car's lowered and widened.

Dave, I hope that's not the straight ahead position for your steering wheel!

Wheel looks ace, will fit mine over the Xmas holidays. I assume after removing the airbag it's a straight forward nut and bolt job!
Cheers,

Cracking job! Just wish I could find one to do over the break, going to end up doing jobs like fixing skirting board at this rate :)

That is different to the Alfa Gt stalk arrangement that I have. (just got a Gt a couple of days before Xmas in Stromboli grey, sorry Dicky, lost the colour battle 'domestic' there!)

My GT has 3 stalks, ie the cruise is independent to the turn / lights on the left side.

Even if a triple stalk assembly could physically fit to replace the double, and the plugs were still the same, a hole would have to be cut out for the third stalk.

My Alfa GTA has the same triple arrangement.

Has anyone seen/got a Alfa that has this same double stalk with the cruise, as in Dave's pic? I was about to search the breakers for the Gt part til I saw mine, (which is an 07 plate, maybe the earlier/later are different?)

Gutted there's no new stock left...

Yes I am sure it is.

Had two 166s in the past and the stalk looked identical as far as I remember.

Worth throwing 30 quid to try it if you are looking for CC.

The unit looks identical to the OEM Mas unit I bought a few weeks back.

What a result. Well done chaps.

Have an Alfa breaker close by with a 166 in and has cruise, am going to check and get if correct.

The image on ebay looks identical to the one Dave got, sure all 166's are all the same.

When doing an ebay search for 'maserati cruise', came up with this:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MASERATI-...thing&var=&hash=item721816160c#ht_1382wt_1165

For those with little'uns, from 0-18 months. You can even get your perfect colour combo
