I think I have this problem and will be attempting the 'punch' fix tonight. For those that did not understand the diagram that was put up in an earlier post, have a look at the attached photos and I think you will get a better idea of what we are dealing with. You can even see the 'factory'...
I'm very happy with my Anthem MRX 300. Got it for a good price and powering Mirage Nanosat 5.1 speakers. The Anthem room correction makes a huge ge difference to the sound once you set it up.
Last time I took mine to Edgars Tyrepower in Blackburn Rd. Seemed to do a good job and new what they were doing. I think it was Rob Fairley that recommended them. Wasn't more than a standard wheel alignment either.
I used Nulon Full Synthetic 75W-90 Performance Smooth Shift Manual Gearbox and Transaxle Oil. Hasn't skipped a beat since. I think it is smoother than the previous oil. Granted, I have no idea how long it was in there for.
Fitting the cruise stalk assembly is not hard. One additional plug that is already there and you're done. Hard parts are getting stuff off in the first place. In my case it was the steering wheel boss. So place your bets on whether your journey will be simple or frustrating. Let's hope for simple.
As we can only buy in litres you'll need to get 9. In my 4200 she normally takes just over 8 to get her to just below top level on the dipstick. I keep the left over for the next change.
