I, like most watch a lot of car stuff on YouTube but I’m getting a bit bored with them and need some new ones

Here’s mine, show me yours and rate them:

Edd China - it’s not very good
Goonzquad - initially did some excellent stuff now reverted to mainly pickups
Harry’s Garage - still excellent
HubNut - odd ball classics the weird and forgotten
Italia Autos - enjoy it but very samey
JayEmm on cars - still a good watch
Mat Armstrong - was good now gone all German.
Mike Brewer - trying to reinvent himself, cr@p
Ratarossa - Yes very good still
Rick’s garage - It’s a GTV thang
The Alfa Nut - very interesting chap
Tyrell’s classic workshop - it’s alright
Unifab - rarely interested in his subjects

Love Salvage Rebuilds UK. His Kent accent is amazing

Normal guy supercar has lots of DIY Ferrari / Maser content.

Also The Late Brake Show with Jonny Smith is worth a sub.

Frank Stephenson - responsible for the GS makeover of 4200, also designed new MINI, MC12 and many other important designs https://www.youtube.com/c/FrankStephensondesign

https://www.youtube.com/c/SarahnTuned - she's just bought a UR quattro and is enjoyable to watch for a few reasons...

https://www.youtube.com/c/VHSRallies - old rally content. You love to see it

https://www.youtube.com/c/ROVRvideo - weird old OEM training videos etc

https://www.youtube.com/user/rorymacve - weird old transport history

https://www.youtube.com/c/OutofSpecMotoring - Good EV content if you're into that

Road to Le Mans - Porsche - Michael Fassbender tries to become an endurance racing driver. 3 series

Sophia Floersch - quite a bit of behind the scenes of a racing driver

Dennis Collins Coffee Walk - interesting and informative at times often a lip licking meal at the end

Mr JWW - there’s some good stuff in there but squeaky and excitable.

Davide Cironi - it’s in Italian but there’s subtitles and some lovely cars.

Precision Transmission - auto gearbox specialist. Should be really dull but there’s something addictively therapeutic about it.

Duke Videos - replay an afternoon of motor sport on Grandstand.

Seen through glass - occasionally has its moments but too squeaky usually give up after 2 mins

Kidd in a sweet shop - Jodie Kidd with lovely cars. The ingredients promise much but it doesn’t deliver

Hoovies Garage - some interesting stuff, he’s not my cup of tea but his mechanic friend is pretty good.

Subi performance - German Subaru engine builder really knows his stuff

Just rolled in - unbelievable stuff people have asked garages to fix

JayEmm has some good content but sometimes hit and miss.

Mine are:

Bad Obsession motorsport - amazing fab work putting Toyota Celica GT4 running gear into a Original Mini.

Fitzees Fabrications - again, awesome fab work

Harry’s Garage - particularly like the Fulvia stuff at the moment

Arthur Tussik - does some absolutely insane rebuilds of crashed cars

Make it Kustom - again lots of fabrication techniques

Edd China - not awful, but I hope it improves

Greasy Fingers - does rebuild work on Alfas and Porsches

Dave’s Garage - welsh bloke rebuilding a MK1 escort in his shed

Wray Schelin’s Proshaper - Makes amazing replacement panels by hand

Jethro Bronner - restores 70s Alfas in South Africa - doesn’t post much.

Italia Autos - nicked this one off Matt

Home Built by Jeff - He is putting a Ferrari 430 engine in an Alfa GTV. Nut job.

REPerformance - they do a lot of interesting stuff like twin turbo Huracans and gearbox rebuilts.

Retropower - amazing Restomods.

I watch a few of the ones already mentioned.

I also watch carguys.tv, seem down to earth guys, one wealthy with a nice collection and his mate. Don’t take themselves too seriously but review some pretty interesting stuff.

Sometime watch savagegeese. This is American, or maybe Canadian, and some of the cars are US only ones but they do plenty of stuff we get too. Go into more tech stuff under the cars as well just driving them.

Big Car The history of common cars. Lots of BL, Ford etc. Decent presenter and possibly interesting to us post-
boomers ;)
Britannica Restorations Deep dives into Series & Defender repairs/renovations. Very Yorkshire guy, in NE Canada.
Chris Harris on Cars Cannot watch the rest of the new team.
Davide Cironi Drive Experience Thrashes Italian and other icons. English subtitles usually follow within 24 hrs.
Dr John Campbell Covid voice of reason The ONLY person that I've paid real attention to since late 2019.
5 Romeo Romeo Fascinating take on the Rhodesian conflict by a reserve (part-time) soldier who
nevertheless saw more action than many many soldiers ever will, anywhere.
Frog Leap Studios Heavy metal take on non heavy metal hits. This is going to either be a love /laugh or hate
experience for most. Ease yourself into the darkness by seaching out the Mary Spender duo.
One of his most watched. Think he's Norwegian.
Rick Beato Georgia (US) based music creator / producer's take on popular music hits, gear, learning to play,
getting into interviewing music heros of his. Very accomplished, natural presenter.

I've picked out what might have a broader appeal from amongst my subs. The rest are sailing channels, music, comedy and nutrition related. The comedy especially is very subjective so not bothered with those, but if anyone wants me to add, what I think are the best stand-ups that I've seen this year, I'll happily do that. All are pre TV deals etc. Mostly US.

The one comedian I would recommend, especially if you have a very alt/dark sense of humour (he's a bit like a younger George Carlin) is an Australian called Jim Jeffries. You'll find his stuff all over YT. I first saw him in 2010 at the Edinburgh Fringe when he was not long in the UK and was doing one hour sets to a couple of hundred for a couple of weeks and was often selling out. Might've been his first year at The Fringe. All I'll say is, don't watch him with your mouth full.

StanceWorks is a great watch, particularly if you like 308/328 Ferraris since he's been engine swapping his yellow 308.
