Sadly, imho, this wine whilst still very good is still positioned at a price point dictated by former glories. I'm not aware of a recent vintage which justifies the reputation. Whereas, I'd be more inclined to suggest giving Delas Les Bessards a whirl. Also, Jean-Luc Colombo, an original biodiversity "champion", have their Le Rouet offering. Both, again imho, excellent. Agree about Jaboulet though and currently enjoying their Viognier, Secret de Famille. Whilst not their Condrieu, and more quaffable as a result, it's a snip at approx. £10/bottle.Jaboulet make some great Rhône’. Try Hermitage La Chapelle if you come across it.
