I have been told my exhaust has fallen off by a stupid women who was annoyed at the noise I was making (sport mode, popping and gurgling)
I've also heard someone say when at the traffic lights, look at that tosser in that jag... What has he done to it?? Hahaha It's a std GTS!!

I've also had a bloke in a garage ask what engine size the car is and then proceeded to tell me why I shouldn't drive such a polluting car, he was possibly right and wonderfully articulate, I replied with "I've just burned 14000 tonnes of fuel per hour in my other vehicle so this is a drop in the ocean (Boeing 747) he didn't know what to say to that.

haha...

The thing is, people moan, but in reality, if they wanted to really stop polution, closing LHR for a day would save a years worth of trafic poultion for ever car in Britain*.

*stat made up to suit.

Total annual emissions / nasty particulate outputs from a Maser are without doubt lower than a school-run diesel Mini town driving a 20 mile round trip with barely time for the engine to warm up and become efficient. Er, probably.

Hi Frank,
Since we got back from Girona I have been up to the neck in it. I have been working on some quite large Military contracts since the back end of last year and now they are coming to the point of contract signatures, so I have had to verify everything which takes an age. Plus the gardens have gone mad, triffids have been seen working their way towards the house, so flame throwers and charging lawn tractor have been deployed. Sorry for the silence, I am trying to correct that now.
Cheers

Why drive a Maserati??????? Well it is true you can get from A to B in many other cars for a fraction of the cost but aside from the inevitable smile everytime you slide behing the wheel, how many other cars have a fuel guage which behaves more like a rev counter?????? :tomato9: Besides all that it makes me feel that I am keeping the petrol giants in business single handed.
