I bet you wouldn't find anyone working at GCHQ or RAF Menwith Hill with any of these listening devices in their homes or on their wrists.
Of course not. But for lots of different reasons.

Defo my smartwatch. It's always connectrd to the internet, having its own data SIM card, speaker and microphone, and my phone was not near me.
My uncle said "touch-n-go, they are very good near Thornes Park" the perfect trigger for a Google review!
I'll try a few other 'recommendations' and see what happens.
Yes my watch does have Google assistant but switched off for voice activation, I've set it so you must push in the crown, so 'assumed' not listening to anything.

Don't have any.. Don't get why we need them..... Just another way to take you money on something that didn't need to be invented.
Just out of curiosity, how much data are you using per day on your watch SIM? Then, for amusement work out how much a 24/7 audio stream would use.

You don't need them. But as we've all discussed many times before, you don't need a V8.
Ours give us pretty much full voice control over the house, the lights and the heating. The systems are also interlinked so a lot of it becomes automated. Either of itself (lights and heating coming on when we come home, warnings that certain doors or lights have been left on, etc), or triggered by voice requests (like getting up where the lights come on if it's dark, the kettle goes on and we get a weather report) I think it's cool. I'm also aware it's very nerdy indeed, but each to their own.

From the 9th November 30Mb.
So approx 2Mb per day.
However it only draws from its own data SIM when out of bluetooth range from my phone.

Whether possible or not, how can you explain Google asking for a review on a business that I had never heard of before and only in a voice conversation several hours before, with the only tech device in the area my smartwatch? Is My Phone Listening in? On the Feasibility and Detectability of Mobile Eavesdropping
Besides various other privacy concerns with mobile devices, many people suspect their smartphones to be secretly eavesdropping on them. In particular, a large number of reports has emerged in recent years claiming that private conversations conducted in the presence...link.springer.com

Interestingly the answer is right there in the article (which was interesting, ta)

Yes,.
Taking into account permission requirements, user notifications, sensor sampling frequencies, limited device resources, and existing security checks, we conclude that – under the current levels of data collection transparency in iOS and Android – sophisticated eavesdropping operations could potentially be run by either of the above-mentioned adversaries without being detected. At this time, no estimate can be made as to the probability and economic viability of such attacks.

And Siri.
"Siri, call Mum...."
"Calling Mike Dixon...."
"No!!!"
I hadn't spoken to Mike for about five years so had to have a 40 min catchup call there and then!!! I'm a Lancastrian and he's a Geordie so I doubt any device listening got much from it.
And they will get really confused when he gets to kookumberEven if they are, there are not interested whether Wattie can get to D in vegatables or not (Diced Carrots!).
